The Wings to Fly is a program by the Equity Bank that targets to educate bright but needy and vulnerable pupils who excelled in their KCPE examinations.
Categories of students being Sponsored by Equity Bank’s Wings to Fly
- Bright students – students who make it at the top 5th per county in KCPE
- Orphaned or vulnerable pupils – These include;
In all these, there must be no relatives or guardians who can sponsor them and their parents cannot afford to educate them.
• Children who have lost one or both parents. Evidence in form of Death Certificates/Burial Permits/letter from
your Chief should be attached
• Children whose parents are physically or mentally challenged.
• Children whose parents are living with HIV/AIDS or other chronic illnesses. Medical records should be sought
• Children from families affected by natural disasters such as flooding, drought, and famine or civil conflict (family’s current living conditions)
• Children who are neglected or abandonment or both.
• Children with parents living under extreme poverty and have no relative or guardian or sponsor their secondary education
Application Process for Equity Bank’s Wings to Fly
The whole process of Wings to Fly is online Online Application and it is open in DMIS. The Physical forms have also been dispatched to be received on Monday and Tuesday next week. The deadline of application is 11th December 2024.
