According to news reaching the airwaves is that the Jesus is Alive Ministries Church building in Nairobi is being demolished. This church belongs to Bishop Margaret Wanjiru.
The reasons behind the demolition have not yet been revealed as no prior communication was made before this. There were heavy presence of police officers during the demolition and this has made many to wonder why the building is being brought down.
Whether the demolition is done by government or the Bishop herself is not known. Recently she had expressed her dream of building what she termed as Glory Twin Towers in the same land.
Margaret Wanjiru is a former member of parliament for Starehe Constituency and in the runnup to the 2022 general elections, she contested for UDA ticket for Nairobi Woman Representative but she lost the nominations.
It can be remembered how Margaret Wanjiru celebrated the victory of William Ruto where she praised him saying that his election meant well for the churches in Kenya. She said that if Raila Odinga would have won then the church would have been in trouble as she believes Odinga is not a believer.
