The Kenya Rural Roads Authority which is mandated to construct and maintain roads in rural areas has been on spot after recent tender was made public of various roads to be constructed per county.
From the list, some counties have received over 50kms of roads to be constructed while others received below 10km or event less than a kilometer as in the case of Bungoma county. However, out of the 47 Counties in Kenya, 15 counties have not been considered for any new road construction by KeRRA. Here are the counties left out;

3. Homa Bay
4. Siaya
5. Makueni
6. Kwale.
7. Isiolo
8. Tharaka Nithi
9. Wajir
10. Kakamega
11. Vihiga
12. Samburu
13. Nyamira
14. Turkana
15. Mandera
16. Kisumu (Got a bridge only)
